Work, Drive, Sleep :P

Anyone wondering what the hell is going on?
Due to not getting the gsoc I needed to find an another way to make some money over the summer so I can actually afford to continue to second year at college.
Got a job for a company called Agilysys which is a British outsourcing company. According to the website they focus on software but at the interview it became apparent that the Shannon branch was a call center for several English banks. The job pretty much entails calling people up who have gone over the credit limit on their card to notify them and try and get them to pay off enough that they wont fall into greater debt.
At first you might think that having to talk to angry people would be the hardest part but in reality its learning how the systems work that takes some getting used to.
So many ways to mess up on a 3 minute target :(
The fact that its an autodialer rushes you even more... But what seams to be the best thing about the job so far has to be the people. There are so many interesting intelegent people who are also very nice and down to earth.
I was particularly surprized with management, as they are just too nice.. Something must be up :D
I also passed my theory test and will hopefully get insured when my first pay check comes through.
I have been reading though :D, My first year in college was focussed on Java but I had a small bit of experience with c, and c++ before hand and its quite surprizing how fast it comes back to you after two years :D
My grandad has also had some medical problems as of late so Its been a bit stressfull trying to balance a new demanding job, studying for a drivers liscence and trying to make some time to get to see my grandad. I have fallen asleep right after work of couple of times during this week alone without feeding myself which is a pain in the ass because you are refreshed enough the next morning to realize you should have relaxed and watched a movie or something in between shifts :D :P

So things should be quieting down over the coming weeks. I will grab the source to the about me capplet over the weekend and experiment.
Because of these unforseen circumstances I have chaged the priority to september. All I am going to do is add telepathy account management to the about me capplet. After this I hope to have some practical experience with telepthay which I hope to use to implement some of my other ideas. Another reason for changing this priority was that I want to learn some more about the gnome-online inititive and the different elements to it. Right now I dont know much about it, I dont want to duplicate work done by Havok and the other great hackers. So if anyone has any input regarding how account management is done with gnome-online be sure to leave a comment. It would be much appreciated. If I get my head around systems faster then expected then work should progress at a faster pace.
